Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition

Feels like a remaster!

Not only does the game work like a charm, straight after installation, requiring no tweaking or fiddling, but it also run smoother than ever and LOOKS BETTER! Even the vanilla faces are not as ugly as they used to be. How so? Is it because GOG team patched it and silently included some discrete MOD? Or because a modern graphic card enhances its appearance and physics? I don't know. But this version is definitely improved and almost feels like a remaster. (Only down-side: it does not agree with the old MODs I used to add to the game, they make it freeze frequently. But if you really want to add MODs to GOG's Fallout 3, there seem to be a "proper" way of doing it, as explained in some threads in GOG's Fallout forum.)

Outcast - Second Contact

Simple:

If you are an older gamer who liked and enjoyed the original OUTCAST in 1999, you will be overjoyed and cry of happiness with this version. But if you are a younger one and don't know anything about OUTCAST, you're probably on for boredom and disappointment. If it's the case, wait for a solid discount and give it a try with low expectation. Then maybe the magic will happen...

Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure

GNG

All the pleasure of playing a Good All Game, for people who miss the like of vintage Tex Murphy or Phantasmagoria adventures games, but without the need of nostalgia glasses to enjoy it. Also, the built-in (facultative) walk-through is a great frustration stopper to which you can rely in the rare moments the puzzles are a little obtuse.
